Michael, way back in February, before I discovered your great blog, you posted something which I've been searching for for years - so you can imagine how I kicked myself when I discovered that I'd missed it: Max Bacon's Little Red Hooding Ride and William T. Hell.

I'd be very grateful if you could re-upload these.

Thanks in advance - Mel.

Happy to oblige mel - these are a couple of my favourite novelty "songs" too!

No 1 for me has to be Chicken Rock

Thanks outaspaceman but I was thinking more of older posts that you missed and would like to be uploaded again.

errrr..... I did mean the October 2005 posting.
I have, in the past, whilst inebriated, tried to argue the case for the chickens seminal influence on Blues & Rock n' Roll music to a sceptical audience. This album illustrates the connection perfectly.

O right outtaspaceman the older Chicken Rock. I'll see what i can do.

Michael, I visit your blog regularly because, in short, I never know what I am going to find posted!!

Novelty items are of particular interest to me...& so there is very often something to savour or laugh along to...or both!

However, the post I enjoyed the most was the one featuring 'The Singing Bamboos' (Pangkat Kawayan). How rare & genuinely fantastic that music was. Any more of that LP would be very welcome.

Incidentally, it's great to see you away from the difficult-to-use rapidshare & hear your posts in good kbs quality.

Many thanks for sharing so generously.
